Battery Law Legal Notice for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Disposal In accordance with European legislation, it is prohibited to dispose of electrical and electronic devices in household waste. Please dispose of these devices through an electronic waste collection point in your municipality to ensure environmentally friendly disposal. Legal Notice according to Battery Law In connection with the sale of batteries and accumulators, we, as a retailer, are obligated according to the Battery Law to inform you as a consumer of the following: You are legally obliged to return batteries and accumulators. You can return them after use at our point of sale, at a municipal collection point, or at local retailers. Batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out wheelie bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines their classification as pollutant-containing.
